Themes and footers for your store

Introduction Back to top

By default Enstore will use the Serenity (previously Raconteurs) theme. You might want to change this theme sooner or later. Just to see what the other themes would look like or maybe because your store needs another theme. Who knows?

Luckily, we've equipped Enstore with a number of built-in themes to choose from. You can also preview them before you decide whether or not to use them for your store.

Choosing a new theme Back to top

To work with the different themes Enstore offers, you go to the Theme part of Settings. Here you see all the default themes neatly displayed in the Theme section. If you want to see what a theme would look like for your store, you select the theme by clicking it once and then click "Preview" under the Theme display. This will open a pop-up window with your store, completely styled according to the theme you just picked. If you like what you see, click "Choose" to have the theme applied to your store.

Footers Back to top

To add a footer to your store, click Edit behind the footer you want to add. You can use Textile to insert URLs and emphasize parts of your text. The different types of footers are explained next.

Global

If you have certain information you want to show up everywhere in your store, you use a global footer to display it at the bottom of every page. Examples of this are Terms and Conditions, your return policy, your store's Facebook page or Twitter account, or information for certain types of customers (international, domestic, out of state).

Checkout

To have a piece of text on the bottom of the Checkout Page, you edit this footer. Great examples for this footer are free shipping offers, extended shipping times when you're expecting delays, or again your return policy.

Confirmation

When your customers have finished the checkout process, they're redirected to the Confirmation page. You can add a personal message to this page with a confirmation footer.
